Paul passed away peacefully at his home in Canal Winchester with his wife of nearly 70 years, Betty Speakman, by his side. He is survived by his son Brad (Barb) and preceded in death by his son Jeff (Eileen). He was known as ‘Pappy’ and loved very much by his grandchildren Wes (Kate), Ryan (Ashley), Ashley (Tommy), Chris (Talisa), and Ethan. He leaves behind several great grandchildren and other family members that cherished him.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
   He was a member of the United Methodist Church and retired from Eastland/Fairfield Career Center as well as the Whitehall Auxiliary Police Department.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, May, 10, 2021 4-7 p.m. at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME 650. W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2021 at 11 a.m at the funeral home with Pastor Alex Feldman officiating.
