Paul R. Torrence

Paul R. Torrence, age 84, of Westerville, formerly of Galena, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his residence. Born May 24, 1937 in Meigs County to the late Roland and Audrey Torrence. He was retired from Conrail and was a member of Sunbury United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Naomi Torrence in 2006, and his second wife, Marilyn Torrence this past February; brothers, Jack and Gene Torrence; and sisters, Darleen “Cookie” Cassidy and Aileen “Sally” Caldwell.
He is survived by his children, Gregory Richard Torrence, Hilliard, Kim (Rodney) Lowery, Canal Winchester, Deanna (Tim) Thompson, Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Jeffrey Paul and Natalie Thompson, Kassie and Zach Lowery, Joshua and Nathan Kem; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Zoey; brother, James (Maryann) Torrence, Indianapolis; sisters, Marleen (Chuck) Sheppard, Orient, and Kathleen Morris, Middleport; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit 10 am to 12 noon Tuesday, April 19 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Pastor Victoria Troutman officiating. Interment will be later at Tuppers Plains Christian Cemetery in Meigs County.
