Peter Bethel

Peter Eugene Bethel, 69, of Amanda, died on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Carriage Court of Lancaster. Born on October 15, 1949 to the late Roy and Mary Bethel, Pete was a 1967 graduate of Groveport Madison High School. He earned degrees from both Franklin University and Columbus State Community College. Pete worked for 37 years as a Technician for Xerox. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring antique tractors, golfing, and was an avid baseball fan. Pete will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who always put his family first. He is survived by his wife of almost 42 years, Sharon; children, Robin Bethel and Brent (Laken) Bethel; grandson, Gage Walters; and his sister, Patty (John) Brock and family. Friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7th at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday, November 8th. Interment at Amanda Township Cemetery.
