Philip A. Burke

Philip A. Burke, age 67, of Centerville Ohio formerly of Carroll Oh passed away November 23, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. Philip was born August 14,1951 in Columbus Ohio to the late Donald and Virginia (Marburger) Burke. Phil was a 1969 Graduate of Canal Winchester High School. Philip’s love and passion for his family was boundless. He loved his precious dogs, Lucy and Emma, and had a great affinity for the Beatles and Ohio State sports. Philip was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia (Marburger) Burke, and his father, Donald Burke. Philip is survived by his Partner in life, Kathy Ferris; brother, James (Garden) Burke; daughter, Heather (Burke) Coakley (Tony); Grandchildren, Damien Coakley (Emily Karch), Alayna Coakley (Ross Spiegel); nephews, Bryan Burke (Amanda), Troy Burke, and great nieces, Kaydence and Reagan Burke. Family and friends may visit 1-3:00pm on Friday, November 30 at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Crematory, 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, OH 43110, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Humane Society of your choice.
