Rachel Lucy Solt

Rachel “Lucy” Solt, age 93, of Lancaster, formerly of Canal Winchester, died Friday, October 8, 2021 at her residence. Born June 25, 1928 in Canal Winchester to the late Fred M. & Ollie Mae (Taylor) Raines. She was a retired surgical appliance tech at Wendt-Bristol and was a member of Peace Free Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Glenn Hoy; husbands, Herbert Fetter and Lloyd Solt; son, Bob Hoy; sister, Irene Foskett; and brothers, Virgil, Clair, Will, Robert, Paul, and Eugene Raines.
Lucy is survived by her daughter, Pati (Tom) VanScoy; grandchildren, Dwayne (Stacy) VanScoy, Chad VanScoy, Bryan (Jonelle) Hoy, and Michael (Tiffany) Hoy; great-grandchildren, Mathew VanScoy, Allison Hoy, Levi Hoy, and Hudson Hoy; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit 10 am to 12 noon on Saturday, October 16 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating. Interment Betzer Cemetery.
