Ralph C. Adams, age 85, of Pickerington, died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center. Born November 24, 1933 in Pittsburgh to the late Raymond C. & Margaret D. (Myers) Adams. He attended Rockhurst College and was a graduate of Duquesne University. He was one of the original founders of Century Surety Insurance Co. and worked at Home Insurance, retiring from Lincoln General. After retirement he worked at American Mining Insurance. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary “Petty” Adams; daughters, Cathy (Dean) Rennell and Trish (David) Osborne; grandchildren, Adam (Natalie Dunn) Manning, Nicole (Daniel) Carr, Joseph (Shelby Lederer) Rennell, Jennifer (J.D. Davis) Rennell, and Brittney Osborne; great-grandchildren, Caiden Manning, Olivia, Emily and Andrew Carr, Jackson, Julianna, Jaelynne, and Joelle Davis; sister-in-law, Deanna Adams.
Preceded in death by brother, Robert Adams.
Friends may visit 5-8 pm Wednesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:45 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 600 Hill Road N., Pickerington, with Fr. James Klima, Celebrant. Interment will be later at Holy Cross Cemetery.
