Tribute

Ray G. Thoman, passed on to Glory on October 12, 2021 at the age of 88. Born February 5, 1933. Ray is preceeded in death by Betty R. Thoman, his loving wife of 61 years.

In addition to his wife, he is preceeded in death by parents: Earl E. and Ruth Thoman and Ma and Pop Adams; brothers - Homer and Ronald “Wayne” Thoman; sister - Nancy Thomason; and daughter in law Martha Thoman. Lovingly remembered by his five boys: Brad (Jane), Barry (Wilma), Michael, Eric (Amy), and Troy (Donna). He dearly loved his 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Also survived by a brother, Bud Thoman and sisters, Shelby Neumann and Sherry (Bob) Bennett, sisters in law Bonnie Thoman and Nikki McNeely and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray was a proud veteran on the U.S. Navy, having served in the Korean War. He retired from Columbus Hardware, Inc.

Visitation will be held at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, on Sunday, October 17 from 4-7 pm and on Monday, October 18 at 10 am with the service at 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.spencefuneralhome.com.
