Richard Charles Gaib

Richard Charles “Dick” Gaib, age 78, of Lancaster, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019. Born February 15, 1941 in Columbus to the late Raymond M. & Gertrude E. (Bailey) Gaib. He made a career of truck driving and when he wasn’t on the road he loved being with his family. He was a proud father to Sara and even prouder grandfather to Katie. He farmed for a number of years and was a partner in Gaib Bros. Farms and Gaib Equipment in Circleville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Lucinda Bailey.
He is survived by his daughter, Sara Harris Gaib; her mother, Marilyn Harris; his granddaughter, Katie Harris, all of Muldrow, OK; his twin brother, Raymond Gaib of Lancaster; brother, John Gaib; nephews, Scott (Stacy) Gaib, Wayne (Elizabeth) Gaib, both of Lancaster; two great nephews, Logan and Kenyon; and two great-nieces, Summer and Katie.
A memorial service will be announced later.
