Robert Karl Owen Jr.

Robert K. “Rob” Owen Jr., age 68 of Lancaster, died February 11, 2020 at his home. He was born July 2, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert Sr. and Mary Owen. Rob was a loving father and grandfather who had child-like joy and astonishing intelligence. He was an airplane enthusiast who loved music, his band, but most importantly his family. He made his love for his beautiful daughters well known.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Lauren Owen; Rob is survived by his daughter, Lindsay (Lyle) Owen-Fedor; grandson, Liam Fedor; wife, Joyce Minnear; brother, John (Ann) Owen; nieces, Kris Owen-Garrett, Jannel Hartman, Kara Owen; friends, Karen (Sean) Rooney and extended Callahan family; special family member, Mitchell Taylor; extended family, Shelley (Jeff) Hildreth and their children, Donovan (Amy) Minnear and their children, Brandi Long and her children; good friends, Bob and Sue Cerkan; many close friends, family and band members.

Friends may visit 2- 5 p.m. Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110 where a funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Those who wish may donate to the National Kidney Foundation, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43231, in his memory.
