Roberta "Bobbie" Walsh

Roberta “Bobbie” Walsh, age 78, of Pickerington, formerly of Gahanna, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Grant Medical Center. She was born January 31, 1943 in Columbus. Her father, Robert Herderick, died before she was born, and she was raised by her late mother and step-father, Lorraine (Nye) and Hugo Lawson. She was a graduate of Columbus Eastmoor High School.
She was a former cook at St. Thomas the Apostle School, and retired as bookkeeper from Warwick’s and DeMoyne’s Garden Centers. Her favorite pastime was bingo at Bishop Hartley.
She is survived by her children, Robert “Mike” (Amy) Walsh, and Cindy (Dr. Mike) Poland; grandchildren, Amanda (John) Dedinsky, Erin Walsh, Matthew Poland, Aaron Poland, and Zach Poland; and brother, Ron (Marcia) Lawson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Walsh.
At Bobbie’s request, services will be private.
