Rodney Buccilla

Rodney Boyer Buccilla, age 80, of Bradenton, FL, passed away August 24th, 2021. Rod was born on July 7th, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Boyer and Helen Buccilla. Rod is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Kenova Carrol (Adams), daughter Debra (Scott), son Todd, son Jerry (Leslie), son Kent (Amy) and daughter Brandie (Peter). Grandchildren Emily, Elle, Jamie, Jessie, Kyla, Kassy, Brianna, Gino, Helena, Josh, Casey, Amanda, Greyson and Conrad, brother Larry (Carol) as well as great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Retirement at the age of 55 from AT&T allowed Rod and Carrol to escape to the warm weather of Florida. They settled in Bradenton for the last 25 years, where they made new friends while golfing, going to the beach, having dinner with friends, traveling to see grandkids and enjoying the fruits of their labor. Rod was an army veteran and served proudly and bravely. His fun-loving sense of humor will be missed immensely by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Visitation and memorial service are private.
