Rodney Brian Storts

Rodney Brian Storts, age 76, of Canal Winchester, died January 12, 2020 at his home. He was born December 4, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Albert and Frieda (Smith) Storts. Rodney was a U.S. Air force veteran and retired from the Columbus Fire Department as Captain, EMS Supervisor after 31 years.

Preceded in death by his brothers, Edward “Dean” Storts and Larry Storts; Rodney is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Genny; daughter, Robyn (Michael Richardson) Bennett; son, Brian Storts; grandchildren, Matthew Bennett, Anthony Bennett, Cassidy Storts, Wyatt Storts; great-grandchildren, Garrett Bennett, Kimber Bennett, Braxton Bennett; sister-in-laws, Patricia Storts and Ida Storts; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Friends may visit 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110 where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Craig Arnold officiating. Entombment to follow at Lithopolis Cemetery.
