Ronald Duane Sites

Ronald D. Sites, 81, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, husband of Sharon Donohue Sites for 55 years, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 15, 2021. Ron was born on July 28, 1940, in Bucyrus to the late William and Ruth Sites.

In 1996, Ron retired from his career in data processing for the State Teachers’ Retirement System of Ohio. Ron loved to sing in choirs and barbershop quartets, watch the Buckeyes, do woodworking projects, and spend time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his daughter, Holly Herrick; son, Todd Sites; and sisters, Jean Gifford and Carol Alonas.

Along with his wife, Sharon, Ron is survived by his brother, Roger (Pat) Sites of Shelby; daughters, Lisa Coey of Groveport and Jennifer (John) Kasavage of Columbus; son, Dane Sites of Chillicothe; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Monday, November 22, at 10am at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in memory of Ronald.
