Rose M. Hurley

Rose Hurley, age 86, of Canal Winchester, died Monday, July 30, 2018 at her residence. Born September 10, 1931, in Walton, West Virginia to the late Okey and Lucy (Harper) Hargus.
Rose was a 1950 graduate of Canal Winchester High School. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
A Rose, She is to all of us a beauty, Rising gently through this earth, Saying not a word, So still she stands, Immortal now, At rest in God’s good hands.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Quentin Hargus. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Richard Hurley; children, Darlene S. Lewis and Linda L. Hurley; grandchildren, Jonathan R. Horn, Patricia (Alan) Starrett, Deanna M. Lewis; great-grandchildren, Reese, Owen, Sean, Max, Alex; siblings, Mary Schisler, Garland (Brenda) Hargus.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 7, at Lithopolis Cemetery, 4365 Cedar Hill Rd. NW, Lithopolis, OH 43136.
