Rosemary Finckel

Rosemary Finckel, age 95, of Carroll, died Sunday, March 12, 2023 at her daughter’s residence in Pickerington. Born October 10, 1927 in Columbus to the late Arthur and Ethel (Bauchmoyer) McBee. She was a 1945 graduate of Columbus East High School.
Certain in her ways and warm in her heart, Rosemary was stronger than anyone else we knew. She had a laugh that made you smile and a will tougher than any. She was an avid traveler, kept a beautiful home, and will be so dearly missed. Her love for her family will forever be felt far and wide. How blessed we were to have had our Rosemary.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert E. Finckel in 2013; three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Christina) Finckel, III, Sally (Donnie) Whims, and Linda (Gene) Vanover; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 11 am Thursday, March 16 at Violet Cemetery in Pickerington with the Rev. Frank Priddy officiating.
