Ruth Jane Adolph

Ruth Jane Adolph, age 86, of Pickerington, died Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Born in Merrick, NY on September 7, 1934 to the late Clarence S. and Catherine (Treffeisen) Lane. She lived in East Meadow, NY before moving to Ohio.
Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Alfred “Al” Adolph in 2016; granddaughter, Casey Marie Eberle; and siblings, Clarence D. Lane and Alice (Lane) (Goodwin) Smith.
She is survived by children, Brian (Jeanne) Adolph, Lisa (Tom) Adolph, and Paul (Denille) Adolph; grandchildren, Catherine, Joseph, and Adam Adolph, Alex and Ashlynn Adolph; sister, Christine Kosky; and many other relatives and friends.
She enjoyed doing crossword and word search puzzles, scrabble, crocheting, watching soap operas, Mets games, NASCAR, and casino trips; any activity as long as it did not include walking too far. A short stature and sometimes temper; a quick smile and heart of forgiveness.
Friends may visit 2-6 pm Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. To view a livestream of the service click on the following link:
