Samantha Alice Swingle

Samantha Alice Swingle, 93, of Pataskala, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at her residence. Born on March 15, 1926 to the late Earnest and Cora Reynolds, Alice worked as a Graphic Artist for Ohio Bell for 15 years. She was an avid bowler and bowled in three leagues a week at Holiday Lanes following her retirement. Alice will be remembered as a strong, loving, God fearing, and independent woman. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Faye (David) Bolles; grandchildren, Todd (Chris) Handshey and Laura Handshey; great-grandchildren, Todd T. Handshey, Taylor Handshey, Alexander Handshey, and Alexis Herbst; siblings, Pansy Sparks and Anabelle Adkins. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Swingle; brothers, James Reynolds, Albert Reynolds, and William “Bill” Reynolds. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26th at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
