Samuel William DeWorth, 73, of Pickerington, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Las Vegas.
Born on August 27, 1943 to the late Clinton and Mary DeWorth, Sam was a 1961 graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School. He proudly served in the Army before going onto a career in management at Crane Plastics. Sam will be remembered as being carefree and as someone who never met a stranger. He always had words of wisdom ready for those that needed them. Sam loved to travel and especially enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas and trips to Disney World with his grandchildren. He was also a huge football fan and loved cheering on the Buckeyes and the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda; daughter, Deana (Mike) Adams; grandchildren, Emily and Liam Adams; siblings, Samuel “George” Cope and Donna (Glen) Melick; special cousins, Ralph and Carolyn LaSpina and their families; and many more family and friends.
Sam was preceded in death by his brother, Clinton DeWorth.
