Sandra Sue Ebright
January 14, 1947 ~ March 16, 2023 (age 76) 76 Years Old
Sandy went home to be with the Lord on Thursday March 16 2023. She was born January 14th 1947 in wild wonderful West Virginia, a place she cherished and carried with her for her entire life. Flea markets and yard sales, Stewart’s hot dogs and Blenko glass, and lots of butter and sugar in everything were just a few things that remained prominent in her life even after she moved away. She carried many roles during her life, but without a doubt, the ones she held most dear, were the roles as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her husband, kids and two generations of grandkids held a place in her heart that no one else could touch. She loved talking about them to others and staying involved in their lives and hobbies. She loved teaching others and passing down her ways of cooking. She never showed up to a cookout or function empty handed and introduced many family and friends to the snack of pickles and cheese. She loved to shop but rarely spent money on herself alone. Most of her purchases were items that were on sale and she knew someone somewhere could use it. At one point she probably had no less than 20 bicycles in her garage from yard sale deals she couldn’t pass up. Family that visited would be told to go to the pantry and fill up a few bags to take with them. She had the biggest heart and loved being able to help someone in need. Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Ron and their dog, Atlas; her daughters, Missy (Geoff), Amy (Mark) and Emily; sons, Mike and Brent; grandchildren, Jessica (David), Ashley (Allen), Grant, Anna and Nathan; great grandchildren, Seth, Mikayla, Gabe, Sera, Katelyn, Drew, Landon, Roman and Mia. As well as many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer; son in law, Chaun, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Grace. Sandy’s life was full of great love and happiness and her death leaves a void that nothing will ever fill. But her family encourages you to remember that she spent her last full day on earth doing what she loved, shopping for snacks and joking about running her husband over with her scooter. So while her death was sudden and unexpected, her life was gratifying and plentiful and she will forever be remember for her immense love. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00am on Friday, March 24, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, OH 43110. Refreshments and food will be served after at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the Reynoldsburg Community Church 1636 Graham Road Reynoldsburg Ohio 43068.
