Saundra "Sandy" Carpenter

Saundra K. “Sandy” Carpenter, age 63, of Canal Winchester, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Canal Winchester Rehab Center. Born July 3, 1959 in Columbus, she was a 1977 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School. She was retired from Delta Airlines. She enjoyed flower gardening and decorating her home, but most of all she loved her dogs and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Tabitha Carpenter, Columbus; step-children, Mitch Carpenter, Jr., Wendy (Pete) McGlothlin, Mary (John) Vroman; grandchildren, Warren and Cole, Brandy and Taylor, Logan, Audra, Janna, and John; mother, Louise Jude, Circleville; brother, Rick Dibble, and his girlfriend, Tammy Pearson, Tennessee; sister, Anna (Mark) Thomas, Westerville; sister-in-law, Kathy Mallarnee; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Carpenter in 2020; and her father, Harold Dibble.
Friends may visit 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, July 26 at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Interment after at Glen Rest Memorial Estate in Reynoldsburg.
