Susan (Teach) Willis, age 75, passed away on May 1, 2022 in Lancaster, OH. She was born on May 21, 1946 in Louisville, KY to Alton B. and Julia Wyman. Susan was a loved teacher and the first female athletic coach at Canal Winchester Local Schools. She was a proud graduate of Ohio University and an avid sports lover. Her faith was displayed through the unconditional love she showed everyone. She is survived by her sons, John B. (Kelley Wilder) Thomas and Nick (Tina) Willis both of Canal Winchester; grandchildren, Johnny and Joshua Thomas both of Canal Winchester, Jamie (Nate Lindamood) Willis of Baltimore, Erika (Corey) Richards, Jason (Megan) Arata, Garret Griggs, Savannah Wilder, Caleb Wilder; great-grandchildren, Faith Willis, Ryan Bowersock II, Lathan Lindamood, Giuliana Willis, Katy Lindamood, Emmeline Richards, Sawyer Richards, Charlie Arata and Oliver Arata; brothers, Timothy (Roxanne) Wyman of Chillicothe and John (Jane) Wyman of Fayetteville; sister, Rosemary LaRue of Maine, many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. Susan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jasper (Bill) Willis Jr. and grandchild, Shelby Davis. Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ernie Doling officiating.
