Thelma L. Kelley

Thelma L. (Schumacher) Kelley, age 100, of Galion, formerly of Pickerington, died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Magnolia Terrace in Galion. Born August 24, 1922 in Lockville to the late Albert and Helen (Longstreth) Schumacher. She attended Pickerington High School and worked at the Pickerington Creamery until it closed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Paul M. Kelley in 2003; daughter, Elizabeth “Bobbie” Burba; and brother, Robert L. Schumacher.
She is survived by her sister, Edna Jacobs; close caregiver and loving niece, Jerri Deffendoll; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit 11 am to 1 pm Monday, February 6 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd N (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where her funeral service will follow at 1 pm with the Rev. Barb Parrot officiating. Interment after at Violet Cemetery.
