Thomas Rollin Bivens

Thomas R. Bivens, age 52, of Canal Winchester passed away April 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. Born September 12, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio to Fred and Dolores Bivens.
Tom was a family man, he loved being with them and enjoyed their company greatly. Anyone who met Tom would say he never met a stranger, always going out of his way to make sure he could do whatever he could for others. He had a kind and caring soul. Tom was an avid golfer and bowler, also a passionate and loyal Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, Fred Bivens; paternal grandparents, Ike Bivens and Georgetta Vancel and maternal grandparents, George and Belle Matney.
He is survived by his daughter, Chelsie Bivens; sons, Thomas Bivens Jr., Cody Bivens, Zack Mills; daughter, Courtney Bivens; grandchildren, Colton and Carlie Hoops; mother, Dolores Bivens; sisters, Linda and Susan; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and several other loving family and friends.
A visitation will take place Sunday, May 2, at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME 650 W Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, OH from 2-5p.m. A funeral service will be Monday, May 3, at 10 a.m. with Sherri Blackwell officiating.
