Timothy Lucas

Timothy John Lucas, age 76, of Pickerington, died September 7, 2018 at O.S.U. East. He was born January 27, 1942 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Russell and Louise Lucas.

Tim was raised and lived most of his early life in the south end of Columbus and was a graduate of South High School and Corpus Christi Grade School. Tim was the business manager and retired from I.B.E.W. Local 683. He was on the Ohio Building Trades Commission, the Mayor’s Counsel and was a founding member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and the local Knights of Columbus.

Preceded in death by his step-mother, Martha Lucas; Tim is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara; sons, Matthew (Mary Christine) Lucas and Michael (Christina) Lucas; grandchildren, Megan Franklin, Ashley Franklin, Ryanne Lucas, Reese Lucas, Piper Lucas, Natalie Lucas and Owen Lucas; brother, Patrick (Prudence) Lucas; step-sister, Victoria Schumick; and many dear friends.

Friends may visit 4- 8 p.m. Thursday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington, Ohio 43147. Funeral mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 600 Hill Road North, Pickerington, Ohio 43147. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
