Virginia Mary Davis

Virginia “Jenny” Davis, age 92, passed away on April, 20, 2024. Jenny was born on May 2, 1931. She married Thomas “Gene” Davis on June 4, 1955 and had 4 daughters together. She was a loving mom, mamaw, and sister who will be deeply missed. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by and spending time with family. Jenny is survived by her 4 daughters, Karen (Wally) Bickmeyer, Brenda Cook (Mike Smith), Linda Davis and Dianna Davis (John McLaughlin); grandchildren, Ray (Melissa), Randy (Erica), Jamie (Jessica), Brian (Jamie), and Amanda (Robert); great-grandchildren, Nate, Noah, Julia, Olivia, Andrew, Elizabeth, Lexi, Lily Ann, Kamryn, Brody, Jean and her soon to be brother; sister, Donna Sanders.
She is preceded death by her parents Royal and Mildred Hysell; husband, Gene Davis; sisters, “Lucky”, Glenetta, Judy, Carollee; and brother, Robert.
Some of Jenny’s favorite things to do were playing slot machines, participating in a friendly game of poker, or sitting by the track watching horse races. She will be desperately missed by all those that she’s left behind. Our hearts are so broken by this loss. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her, was to be blessed.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Donna May and to Generation/ Hospice, especially Sarah and Lisa, for their kindness, help, and caring for our mom.
