Wendy Colette Case
December 28, 1965 ~ October 11, 2021 (age 55) 55 Years Old
Wendy Colette Case, age 55, passed away on October 11, 2021. She was born in Louisville, KY on December 28, 1965. She was truly a one of a kind person. She was a momma bear thru and thru to her family. She loved deeply and cared for those she loved so very passionately with her whole heart and would do anything for anyone during a time of need. Many times she would go sit at Chick-fil-A just to pay for lunch for service members that came thru. She dedicated Christmases of hers to hug every single sailor just like their moms would because they couldn’t be there during boot camp. She was fiercely loyal and absolutely loved her family, her grand boys and her grand dogs of course! She was an awesome Lolli. She joked that she was too cool to be a grammie, so Lolli and Pops were their names they picked out to be called. She struggled with mental illness in life and was never ashamed to talk about it. She wanted her kids to have a better life. She was bold, beautiful and oh so strong because of it. She fought every single day for her peace. We will miss you so very much and we can’t wait to have another mama hug from you one day. Wendy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Timothy Case; son, Nathan (Katie) Case; daughter, Shelby Case; son Adam Case; daughter Cheyeanne Case; grandsons, Jacob and Mathew Case; brothers, Robert Toon, James Williams, Eddie Lee Roten and Robert Mathers; sisters, Lisa (Johnny) Devine, Vickie Rushing, and Rebecca Hackemack; sister-in-law, Vickie (Phil) Kostanski. She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Toon; biological father, Edward Roten; mother, Wilma Toon and biological mother, Eva Williams. Friends and family may call from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd North, Pickerington, OH. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
