William James Williams

William J. Williams, Age 77, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully at home April 9, 2021. He was born May 20, 1943 in Massillon, Ohio to Donald and Ruth Williams.
William graduated from Northwest High School, Class of 1960, Canal Fulton, Ohio. William was an Army veteran and while stationed in Germany met his loving wife of 57 years, Hedy (Schmid) Williams. He loved spending time with his friends playing golf and watching sports especially the Browns and Indians. But nothing brought him more joy than his grandchildren; Chase, Annika, Andersen, Gino, Rocco and Antonio.
William is survived by his wife, Hedy; daughters, Judi, Debra (William), Patricia (Cole), Heidi (Tim), and son, Steve (Angella). Also survived by his devoted sisters, Joanne (Bill Lewellyn) of Louisville, KY and Donna (Rick Sayre) of Hartville, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Williams.
He is greatly missed as he rests with those he loved.
