William R "Bill" Spears

William R. “Bill” Spears, age 79, died September 1, 2019, at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community. He was born January 8, 1940, to the late William and Garnet Spears. Bill served our country as a member of the United States Air Force for 6 years. He received his 50 year service honor and was a member of Mount Zion Masonic Lodge #9, F&AM. Bill enjoyed golf and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye football fan. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Spears; siblings, Jim Spears and Brenda Daulton. William is survived by his children, Ruth (Rex) Molihan, Charles Burt, Debbie (Pete) Lynch, Rusty (Fiona) Spears, Laura (Kevin) Frankenberg, John Spears; grandchildren, Shea (Aimee) Molihan, Mike (Angie) Molihan, Katie, Patrick and Mary Lynch, Aundrea (Shawn) Patterson, Ian (Tanya) Frankenberg; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Judy) Spears; many nieces and nephews. At the family’s request services will be private.
