William Craig Vance

William “Craig” Vance, age 78, of Otway, formerly of Marion died Thursday, November 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 17, 1940 in Sardinia, OH to the late Wilford and Mabel (Raines) Vance. Craig was a lifelong farmer and worked as a welder for 30 years at Marion Power Shovel. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ashley. Craig is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mabel Vance; children, Michael (Kimberly) Vance, Jeffrey (Kim) Vance, Tammara (Anthony) Stafford, Sandra (Lewis) Schrader; grandchildren, Brandon, Kayleigh, Kristin, Grant; great-grandchildren, Jessie, Drake and Levi; siblings, Earlene (Paul Richard) Wooten, Mona (Carl) Wise. At the family’s request services will be private. Arrangements by Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Crematory, Canal Winchester.
