William W. Wright

William W. “Bill” Wright, Jr., age 70, of Columbus, died Friday, March 12, 2021 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital. Born December 6, 1950 in Washington, DC to the late William W. and Mary K. Wright, he was a retired programmer with Huntington Bank and was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pickerington.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Sally, Chicago; brothers, Tim (Janine) and Jeff (Christi) Wright, both of Columbus. He was a very devoted and generous uncle to his 5 nieces and nephews and great-uncle to 12 more.
An avid golfer, he collected more than 8,000 logo balls which he proudly displayed in his home.
A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, March 20 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 268 Hill Road N., Pickerington, with Pastor Brad Gee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 10 am.
