William Donn Willis

William Donn Willis, age 93, of Canal Winchester, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday, April 28, 2022, surrounded by family. “Bill” was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 3, 1928. A veteran of the Korean War, Bill was proud to have served in The United States Army, 1st Cavalry Division. After his time in the military, he worked 43 years for AEP. He was a devoted volunteer firefighter for the Village of Canal Winchester. Bill was strong in his faith and attended David Lutheran Church where he served as Treasurer for many years. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club and Masonic Lodge.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, of 70 years, Norma Jean Willis; parents, William Madison Willis and Sallie Ann Willis.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Lynn (Daniel) Drumm, William Grant (Bonnie) Willis, William Ross (Maureen) Willis; grandchildren, Ryan John Dalton, Benjamin Keith Dalton, Maria Elaina Dalton, Emma Katherine Nadeau, William Cole Willis; great-grandchildren, Zackary Dalton, Lacey Dalton, Kendra Dalton, soon-to-be-born Elizabeth Grace Willis; and great-great-granddaughter, Charlie Thomas.
