Dear Shade (Julie and Mason), Roger and boys, and Debbie's family......
You all have my deepest sympathy. I am lifting you all up in prayer for the difficult days ahead. I pray God can give you peace, strength and understanding. My heart breaks for each and every one of you. I was honored to meet Debbie a few years ago at a difficult time for us all...our granddaughter, Ashlynn Victoria Grace Mason, was called to be one of God's beautiful angels. I remember Debbie being a very nice person and easy to talk to. She was very comforting to be around. I am so sorry for your loss.

My dear friend Debbie. You always made me laugh. You had the biggest heart and always thought of others first. In tribute to your spirit I will always smile when I think of you . Everyone who knew you are better for it. I’m so very blessed to have had you as a friend. I will miss you but it’s not forever, until you make me laugh again. Love you Kathy

It is not right that a father outlives his daughter. Debbie was the kindest, funniest, most loving and caring person I’ve ever known, as well as her sister Laurie.

I give major credit to their mother for instilling in them the best values one could hope for.

Debbie’s last words to me were that she was sorry for dying so soon. Not for herself, but for those she would leave behind.

My heart aches for my loss but even more so for her husband Roger and her sons, Alex and Zach. She was an inspiration to each of them, and myself.

I’ll never forget her ability to laugh about whatever came her way. I never heard a discouraging word from her. She was always upbeat and positive.

She fought bravely for so long to overcome the cancer that eventually took her life.

God has gained a wonderful angel. She will be sorely missed here on earth.

Rest in peace my love.

Dad

I am grateful for knowing Debbie, there is no one like her. She was goodness and kindness in a constant way. In a time of deep sorrow for your family, she reminded me to make memories as she hugged me tight. Her gentle way will inspire me for the rest of my days. I know in my heart she would hug us all and say go make some memories because she knew how precious life is. Sending all our love to the Mason's.

Love,
Leon, Julie, Carson & Michael

Roger, Zach, Alex and family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Debbie was an amazing woman who loved you all very much. She was a wonderful friend, who I am grateful I got to spend my summers with watching our boys play ball. Her light will shine on in all of us as we cherish her memory for all the days of our lives.

Death leaves a heart ache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Rest in peace my dear friend.

Love,
Tommy, Melodie and Jordan Spurling
