Katherine Ann Herderick

Katherine Ann (Rudolph) Herderick, 87, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on the morning of February 5th, 2018.
There will be a viewing from 5-7pm on Wednesday, February 7th at Dwayne R Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, February 8th at Glen Rest Memorial Estate Cemetary, 8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
Katherine was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 16th 1930. She graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1947.
She was married to Edward A. Herderick on June 10, 1950; they enjoyed many good years together having been happily married for 52 years prior to his passing.
Katherine worked in the JC Penney distribution center catalog office in Columbus for 12 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a good neighbor and friend to all who knew her. She was a devoted member of Christ Lutheran Church in Bexley and later a devoted member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church. She volunteered in various community activities.
She is preceded in death by husband Edward A. Herderick and parents Robert Paul and Suzanne (Sombold) Rudolph and brothers Werner and Gerhardt Rudolph. She is survived by sons Edward E. (Cynthia) and Timothy P. Herderick, grandchildren Edward D. (Michelle) Herderick, Thomas R. (Mallory) Herderick, and Adeline Shivers Mazzei as well as great grandchildren Elena K. and Audrey L. Herderick. She was wonderfully blessed with many more extended family and close friends that were dear to her. The family appreciates all their love and support over the years.
