I keep thinking about what a big part of my life El-Rod (Lee) has been. He taught me how to laugh at myself and not take things too seriously. That speaking your mind is important and that the small things and those you love are what matters most in this world. He touched so many lives and his memory will always live on. I wish I had the words to express how much he means to me. I will always be thankful for the love he shared with my mom, my sister, and me. He is truly missed.

Our condolences on the loss of your dear Lee. My husband and I were sharing memories of Lee and the lasting impressions we both have of him are his big smile, his big hugs and his big heart. No matter how much time had passed, he was so happy to see us and welcomed us with that smile and hug.It is a comfort to our hearts as I pray it will be to yours.

I remember lots of good times when it comes to my uncle Lee. I remember the doll from strawberry shortcake he got me one Christmas. I remember always feeling welcomed in his and Amy's home when I went to play with my cousins or stay the night. Every Sunday I would see my aunt and uncle as we all gathered at my home when I was still a child for lunch before all the adults went to their bowling league. I went several years without seeing my uncle and just recently had got to see him briefly at a relatives funeral. I am so thankful I shared that last meaningful hug with him and got to speak those few words with him. He had such a smile on his face as he told me I hadn't aged. He always new how to make a girl feel good. I will always remember good thoughts about my motorcycle loving uncle Lee.
