Mary Lou Frances Downey-Beiter

Mary Lou Frances Downey-Beiter, age 79, died Friday, March 17, 2017. She was born September 13, 1937 in Cleveland, OH to the late Albert and Mary Morrow.
Mary Lou was a member at Seton Parish Catholic Church and more recently at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was Secretary for the St. Mary of the Springs Alumnae Association Board, a member of the Shamrock Club, and belonged to the Olivedale Senior Citizen Center. Mary Lou loved to dance; she was involved with the Old Western Square Dance Group. She was also a part of the monthly meetings with the FUN Bunch. Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph B. Downey; daughter, Regina M. Robinson; siblings, Albert E. Morrow, Irene E. Morrow Flynn, and William T. Morrow. Mary Lou is survived by her husband, George, who misses the love of his life; children, Thomas (Tripp Jones) Downey, of NY, Michael Downey, of KS, Joseph (Tracy Workman) Downey, Mary Ann (Robert) Riggs, Annamarie (Jeff) Qualls, Elizabeth (Todd) Hoffman, Bridgid (Brian) Mahler; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ralph H. (Melissa) Morrow, Carol Ann (Donald) Kowalski; numerous extended family members.
Family and friends may visit 4-8:00 pm on Monday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147 where a vigil service will be held at 7:45 pm. A funeral mass, officiated by Fr. James Klima, will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday at Seton Parish Catholic Church, 600 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, OH 43147. Inurnment will be held on a later date at Resurrection Cemetery.
