With heart-felt condolences, we are sending our love to the entire Patton Family! We loved Dick very much and he will be missed as his personality was bigger than life itself. Personally, I have many wonderful memories to hold onto, as your family was just like my family, too! Love you all!

When growing up in Nelsonville , some of my most treasured times were those times spent at my Grandma's house on Myers Street. The extraordinary times were when Aunt Myrt came and best of all when her son Richard came and his wife Mary. They are the epitome of salt of the earth people. Richard always made me feel like the most important child he had ever met. I suspect he did that with all children. That's just who they were - kind loving and giving people. Willing to be a playmate, take children to get ice cream and spend valuable time with a young one who was craving time with a person who really cared what was going on in their small insignificant life. I love you Richard ❤️ My only regret is not seeing you these last years. I will see you again. Have some ice cream ready for me and a ball to throw- I'm still a tomboy. Mary what an awesome couple you have always been. Love you, Jeri-Lynn

Dear Rich, Carol, and Family,
Even though we know the day will come, the death of a loved one still hurts. My wish for you is that as days go by, the memories help lessen the burden of the hurt and you are able to look back and even smile and laugh at the fun times and happy memories you had with your father.
