Russell R. Sunday

Russell “Guy” Richard Sunday, 52, of South Bloomfield, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.
Born on March 13, 1964, Russell worked hard for his family, working for Schottenstein’s (1980-1987), Buckeye Steel (1987-2001), Columbus Public Libraries (2004-2006), and for Mars Petcare (2006-Present). He was also a die-hard sports fan, rooting on the Buckeyes and Steelers.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Susan Sunday; children, Roger Alan Sunday and Tiffany Renee Sunday; step-children, Anthony (Morgan) Ramey and Roger Ramey; grandchildren, Alexous and Blake Ramey; step-father, Edgar Goodrich; siblings, Sharon (Scott) Meade and Sue (Stan) Fout; nieces, Sandy Meade, Teresa Fout, and Kathy (Shawn) Dials; and his nephew, Scott Fout.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Sunday and Edith Goodrich.
Friends may visit from 6-9 p.m. on Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Church of Christ of Groveport, 5626 Groveport Rd, Groveport, OH 43125.
Interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Russell’s memory to the Church of Christ of Groveport.
