Thelma Mae Logsdon, age 100, of Lancaster, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at her residence. Born January 29, 1917 in Pickaway County to the late Ira Martin & Laura Rebecca (Solt) Baker, she was a retired private duty nurse. She was a 1938 graduate of White Cross Hospital School of Nursing, and attended Marcy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Howard Logsdon in 1984; and sisters, Helen Noecker and Edna Baker.
Survived by children, Gary (Nancy) Logsdon, Cincinnati, Mike (Cheryl) Logsdon, Canal Winchester, Sue (Lynn) Getz, Canal Winchester; 6 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit 10-11 am on Saturday, April 29 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where a memorial service will be held at 11 am with Pastor David Long-Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Lithopolis Cemetery.
