Dwayne and Patty Spence founded the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home in 1969. Dwayne is a past President of the National Funeral Directors Association and a past President of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. Dwayne has served on many local civic organizations over the past 50 years. They are members of the Lithopolis United Methodist Church.

Since their beginnings in 1969, Dwayne and Patty, along with their dedicated staff, have served families both near and far. "We owe a lot to our communities for their continued support, and we continue to add programs beyond what one would expect. We sponsor an annual Holiday Help Program, collected names for the WWII Memorial and are involved in many school and community programs. With our full-time Post-Service Coordinator, we continue our support and care long after we serve a family."

Our entire staff is dedicated to helping our families in the most professional and caring manner. We are committed to addressing the changing needs of the families we serve while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
