Jack Kuhn

Jack Crawford Kuhn was born July 10, 1924 and died July 16, 2017 surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Bessie Kuhn; sister, Joyce and wife of 48 years, Erma. Survived by present wife, Janet L Trimmer Kuhn; Jack' s children, Bobbi and Dan Gaines, Jack Kuhn II, Tom and Sandy Kuhn, Betsy and Bill Hinterschied , Tim and Lisa Kuhn; Jack's grandchildren, Jake and Alyson Kuhn, Adam and Dan Kuhn, Nate Kuhn, Jon and Kelly Gaines, Shawn and Stephanie ,David and Bill Hinterschied; Jack's great-grandchildren Nolan, Emerson and Grayson Kuhn and Alyssa Gaines. Janet's children, Laura and Jeff Allton and Keith and Peggy Smith; Janet's grandchildren, Erica and Brett Kim, Aimee and Michael Clouse, Lindsey and Ryan Smith, Kyle and Kelsey Smith; Janet's great grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Jackson, Mason, Hudson ,Emily, Chandler, Rylin and Elaine.

Jack was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed birdwatching and outdoors riding his john deer tractor and the Cincinnati Reds. He worked 37 years for Ohio Bell and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Pickerington Senior Center and founding member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. Jack had a wonderful full life and his blue eyes and mischievous smile will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank his care giver Chris from Home Instead for her dedicated care, it was greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Peace United Methodist Church Medical Services or The Pickerington Senior Center. Friends and family may visit 4-7:00pm on Wednesday, July 19, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, OH 43147. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Carl Rayburn will begin at 11:00am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 268 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147 on Thursday, July 20 with one hour prior of visitation from 10-11:00am. Interment at Violet Cemetery.
